PRINTING QUESTIONS
What size digital file is best?
Always, the bigger, the better.
You need either a high dpi or a large image size for the best results. If
you have both you will get a better print. DPI should be 100 to 300+ for
best results. Lower DPI may work fine if you have a large image size and a
small image size may work if you have a high DPI. The
larger we are printing the more important file size, DPI and quality is!

Digital file requirements?
Digital File & Color Requirements
Your digital
file MUST be either PSD(Photoshop) or .TIFF or .JPEG. These are the most
common files types.
Your files should be RGB Color Mode for the best color match. RGB is the
standard for most digital files and digital files are normally RGB unless
someone has changed them on purpose. CMYK, Lab Color or other mode files
may alter your color. Sometimes drastically!
We cannot be responsible for quality due to customer image choice, such as
resolution, low dpi, content, color mode, out of focus, etc.
Remember, your files are printed as is! You are responsible for all color
adjustments & corrections before sending the file. If your colors are
critical, it is recommended that you order only one copy of a print before
ordering a large quantity of the same print.
If we see something not right will contact you, but art is subjective and
it is not always easy to tell when something is wrong.
Most files we get require a little bit of cropping. Try to order your
prints in the same proportions as your file to limit cropping. If your
file requires cropping to fit the size print you order, we will use our
best judgment as to what to crop out and are not responsible for overly
cropped images. If cropping is a concern, you should crop your file first
yourself or tell us what you do not want cropped out. We will do our best
to honor your request.

If I want a
border do I need to add it to my image?
NO!! DO
NOT add a border unless
you consider that image area. Let us add the border. If you add the border
to your file it becomes image area which may cause you image to print
smaller then you want.
We will automatically add a border to your file when we print..

Can I send my
original art for you to photograph?
Yes, we can photograph your original art. We do
have a size limit of 32 inches x 32 inches.
If send original art, pack it securely and insure it! Use FedEx, UPS
or some service were it can be tracked.
The cost is a one time charge of $150 plus the actual return shipping cost.
Just like with digital files, we'll print your colors as close a possible.
Will my colors print correctly?
We very rarely have a color matching
problem. Generally the color prints exactly as your file is or prints very
close with only slight and acceptable differences.
But remember, your
digital file is printed "as is," and all the
responsibility for color rests with you. Unless you have calibrated monitors, what you see on your screen
may not match what's on ours.. Even with this note of caution, we do this
all the time with superb results.

Color & Print Quality - We want to make sure you love the prints you get
from us!
We try our best to catch
problems with your files, but art is subjective and it's not always easy see
something wrong. We want you to absolutely love the
prints you get from us, but please remember, the print quality and the color of the finished
print you get from us will
only be as good as the digital file
you give us to work with,
so we
cannot be responsible for color and we
cannot be responsible for print quality such as out of focus, poor resolution, low
dpi, content, wrong color mode, etc. Example: If you send us a
photo that is slightly out of focus, our software will improve it slightly, but
it will still print out of focus. If your colors are not correct on your file, then your colors will not be correct on your prints! Your files are printed
"AS IS". You are solely
responsible for image quality & color and should make any color adjustments or
corrections BEFORE uploading your file. Please look at your file at 100% and

property calibrated you may see your file colors differently then they are.
We always recommended that before ordering a large quantity of the same print
and color is important to you, you should order only 1 print first to see if your file is correct!
Please see our color & file requirements below.
We can guarantee color ONLY if you have us color match & proof your files. PLEASE NOTE: Your credit
card statement will list our charges as: Digital Magic Imaging
